When negotiating for a Toronto house or condominium, both sides do best when they keep the discussion focused on price. Sellers set the stage with their listing agreements which clearly outline their wants and expectations. Buyers do best when they are able to agree to all terms except price. Every other issue folded into the mix on top of price, weakens their position. And asking for concessions after a price has been agreed upon can be fatal to a successful outcome.
